Well, the weather seems to match the current mood of the country — gloomy.

Today will be cooler, but by the first day of spring this week, we might reach 80 degrees.

Saturday will be cooler, 68, with a 50 percent chance of showers. Saturday night has a 30 percent chance of rain, with mostly cloudy skies and a chilly low of 40.

Sunday should be partly sunny but cooler, with a high of 53.
