Rowan weather: More clouds; rain this afternoon

Well, it was a nice weekend. But here comes more rain.

Today’s chance of rain is 80 percent, mostly after 1 p.m. The high will be 50, with south southwest wind at 3-6 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

Tonight’s chance of rain will be 100 percent, with patchy fog, too. The low will be 45, with south wind at 3-6 mph. A half to three-quarters inch of rain is possible.

Tuesday will have a 60 percent chance of rain, mainly before 8 a.m. Fog will hang around before noon. It will be cloudy and 64, with light wind becoming southwest at 5-8 mph in the morning. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy and 48, with a 30 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m. and again after 2 a.m.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, too, with a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of 63. Winds will be south southwest at 6-11 mph, gusting to 18 mph.

Wednesday night’s chance of showers will be 30 percent, with showers before 8 p.m., then rain possible between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. It will be partly cloudy and cold, with a low of 32.

Thursday will be sunny and 48, with a mostly clear night and a colder low of 26.

Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 49. The low will be 35, with mostly clear skies.
