Larry and Phyllis Beck celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Jan. 26, 2020 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Rockwell.

The reception was hosted by their children, son Jeff; daughter, Christy and her husband Bryan Anderson; grandchildren Larry E., Morgan and Madison; and their brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Gloria Beck and their daughters, Carmen and Angie. The Beck’s other son, Greg Beck, died Dec. 18, 2016.

Mr. Beck retired from the Salisbury Post Office and Mrs. Beck retired from Granite Quarry Elementary School. The couple married Jan. 23, 1965 in York, S.C. Mrs. Beck is the former Phyllis Kenerly.
