Levonia Corry was recognized with an award at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church’s Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Awards last Sunday for more than 40 years of service to the awards program. She has been involved since the beginning, and helped late Mt. Zion Pastor S.R. Johnson organize the event. At the awards ceremony, Corry called for the program to return to the original Mt. Zion facility where it began, at least one time.
