Lee Street Theatre is “ringing” in the holiday season with a very special variety show featuring the Moonglows on Saturday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m..
A Magical Moonglows Christmas” will provide not only the Moonglows’ special musical talents but also comedy sketches, video treats, reports from the North Pole, and even a visit from the jolly ole man himself! Special guests include Alice Rich, Jacob Kluttz, Sarah Claire King, Eli Yacinthe, Aron Stornaiuolo, and Isabella. According to Kent Bernhardt, “it’s a true variety special in every sense of the word.”
Formed in 2017, the Moonglows includes Kent Bernhardt, John Brincefield, Bill Bucher, Carol Harris, Kay Peeler, and Lauren Stephenson. Drawn together by their appreciation of music and live performance, this versatile singing group is a six-part vocal harmony group that specializes in all genres of 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s vocal group music, performing live shows in and around Salisbury, North Carolina.
