Price of Freedom Museum offers ‘Christmas on the Homefront’

CHINA GROVE — The Price of Freedom Museum will celebrate with Christmas on the Homefront over the next two Sundays, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8.

From 3 to 6 p.m. each of those days, the museum’s World War II-era, three-room house will be decorated for Christmas. Holiday refreshments will be served, and all the museum’s military displays will be open with all service branches represented.

Each Sunday also will offer live traditional Christmas music in the restored auditorium. The Efird Family Singers will perform this Sunday, and the Back Creek Bluegrass Boys will perform Dec. 8.

Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.

The museum is in the old Patterson School at 2420 Weaver Road, China Grove.
