Letter: Keep charges out of public opinion’s court

We are writing in support of Power Cross Ministries, an organization of impeccable character and unwavering devotion to more than 200 boys who are fed, tutored and loved each day.

Many in our community have quickly condemned Power Cross and Anthony Shegog without full knowledge of the facts behind this case.

Further, they are unlikely to follow it beyond reacting to another sensationalized article nor will they likely ever be made aware of the interactions with the accuser post-incident and prior to Shegog being charged.

Thankfully, he will have his legitimate day in court. Until then, let’s keep the court of public opinion focused on and grateful for the many who selflessly serve our community.
