Letter: No miscarriage of justice with impeachment

Impeachment means to bring charges. It is akin to a grand jury investigating a probable crime. It is not a trial and does not require or include being informed of the evidence or witnesses.

Should there be enough evidence gathered to warrant charges being officially made against the president, a trial will be held in the Senate, with all senators acting as the jury and judges of the Supreme Court presiding.

That’s the procedure as outlined in the U.S. Constitution. There has been no miscarriage of justice by members of the House of Representatives. They are merely following the Constitution.
