Hudson-Basinger Wedding

Macie Hudson and Justin Basinger of China Grove, were united in marriage Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Gray Stone Pines in Rockwell. Pastor Ronnie James officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony which was followed by a reception.
The bride was escorted by her father, Marvin Hudson and was attended by her maid of honor, Morgan Hudson of China Grove. Her bridesmaids included Ashley England of Kannapolis, Dallus Pope of Enochville, Lauren Johnson of China Grove, Bailey Bourn of China Grove, and Candace Frambs of Kannapolis.
Serving as best man was Jonathon Basinger of China Grove. Standing as groomsmen were Joseph Basinger, Zach Bottenfield, John Davis III, Justin Rose, and Joey Saltz all of China Grove.
The flower girl was Bexley Basinger and the ring bearer was Beckett Basinger, both of China Grove.
The miniature bridal couples were Jenson Basinger of China Grove, Emma England of Kannpolis, and Samuel Basinger of China Grove.
Sharon Foster of China Grove was the guest registrar.
Macie is the daughter of Marvin and Lisa Hudson of China Grove and the granddaughter of James Hudson Sr. and the late Geraldine Hudson of Kannapolis and the late Floyd “Brown” and Dorothy Blackwelder of Kannapolis. A 2012 graduate of Jesse Carson Sr. High School, Macie graduated in 2016 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. She is employed at East Rowan High School as a Special Education teacher.
Justin is the son of Margaret (Jesse) Goldin of Salisbury and Gene (Connie) Basinger of Salisbury and the grandson of Gary and Jaye Honbarger of China Grove and the late Sam and Ann Howard of Salisbury. A 2008 graduate of Jesse Carson Sr. High School, he is employed at Corriher-Lipe Middle School as a teacher and coach.
Following a cruise to the Cayman Islands, the couple will reside in China Grove.
