SALISBURY — Grove Street, from Innes to Poplar streets, will be closed for seven days, starting Thursday.

The closure will accompany work by a contractor for Salisbury-Rowan Utilities. The city of Salisbury recommends that motorists use Mahaley Avenue as a detour when trying to commute from Innes Street to Mocksville Avenue or vice versa. Motorists are asked not to cut through Parkview Circle.
