SALISBURY — A veterans appreciation lunch, “Thelma’s Tribute to Veterans,” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at the West End Plaza Event Center, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd.

Veterans, family members and supporters are invited to the lunch, which will include a program to recognize and honor veterans from all eras.

Representatives of the Veterans Health Administration and Veterans Benefits Administration will be on hand to discuss individual veteran issues. Other organizations that support veterans and their families will attend.

A $5 donation per person is suggested but not mandatory.

Thelma’s Down Home Cooking is catering the lunch, which is also supported by Frontier Coffee Shop and Daughters of the American Revolution.

The host sponsor is Trellis Supportive Care, and the presenting sponsor is the Gary Sinise Foundation.

West End Plaza is the former Salisbury Mall. The Event Center is in the former J.C. Penney store.
