Letter: In council race, vote for ‘four and no more’

I strongly endorse Giannina Monzon for Salisbury City Council.

Giannina is an intelligent, energetic and thorough individual. She makes decisions based on reasoned analysis of the facts, multiple points of view and prayerful reflection. Her priority is a stronger community through business-friendly practices to increase job opportunities and economic growth; a stronger police force to enhance community safety; and council actions that unify rather than divide the community.

Her experience and skill set will make her an effective leader.

I encourage people to vote for Giannina as part of a team who share the same values: Giannina Monzon; Karen Alexander; Brian Miller; and John Struzick. As a team, they can have a significant impact on Salisbury and Rowan County.

Vote for “four and no more.” The ballot will have five positions for Salisbury City Council; however, you do not have to vote for five. By tradition, the person with the most votes becomes mayor.

Again, vote for Giannina Monzon and remember, “four and no more.”
