SALISBURY — Two men broke into the Metro PCS store on West Jake Alexander Boulevard early Friday morning, breaking the glass front door with a large piece of asphalt.

One of them was wearing a light-colored hoodie, the other a dark hoodie, according to the Salisbury Police Department. Their faces were covered and both were wearing gloves, a police report said.

Anyone with information about the break-in is urged to contact the Police Department.

In other Police Department reports:

• CVS Pharmacy on Statesville Boulevard reported a theft Tuesday morning.

• A woman reported an assault Monday in the 200 block of Faith Road.

• Food Lion on Mahaley Avenue reported a theft Tuesday morning.

• A woman reported a theft in the 1200 block of North Main Street on Thursday morning.

• A man reported a theft in the 500 block of East Innes Street on Thursday morning.

• Brendan Rashaun Westbrook, 20, and Catherine Lee Hames, 21, were charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 100 block of Lash Drive at Statesville Boulevard on Wednesday.

• Charles Erroyl Richardson, 44, was charged with using a telephone to threaten bodily harm in the 300 block of North Jackson Street on Thursday.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A woman on Wednesday reported a vehicle theft in the 400 block of St. Andrews Church Road in Woodleaf.

• Hanford Dole Elementary School reported property damage and vandalism on Thursday.

• Matthew Kelly Martin, 30, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 100 block of West Liberty Street on Wednesday.
