ROCKWELL — A free Veterans Appreciation Breakfast will be offered to military veterans at 9 a.m. Thursday at Powles Staton Funeral Home, 913 W. Main St., Rockwell.

Those attending can register to win a gift card basket.

The funeral home also is accepting used U.S. flags for its Retire Your Flag With Honor program and unwrapped toys for Operation Toy Soldier.

The toys will go to the families of deployed military personnel at Christmas.

People attending the breakfast also are encouraged to visit the funeral home’s new military museum.
