South Rowan won a non-conference match at A.L. Brown on Monday, sweeping the Wonders  25-9, 25-9 and 25-19.

Payton Black had 12 digs for the Raiders (13-1), who are ranked fourth in 2A by MaxPreps.

Anna Rymer had 12 assists and 12 kills. Kira Rymer had eight assists, 13 kills and six aces. Ashlyn Faw and Makenzie McGuire had five digs each.

Carson (10-2), ranked 11th in 3A, rolled  against Northwest Cabarrus 25-13, 25-7 and 25-8 on Monday in  a non-conference match.

Roziah served for 17 points to lead North Rowan to a 25-10, 25-12 and 25-18 win against Albemarle in Yadkin Valley Conference action. It was North’s second win. Ti’Ashia Hanson and Chloee Stoner served for nine points each.

Leah Hinceman had 10 kills as East Rowan (6-6) swept Albemarle in a non-conference match on Monday.

Zoe Larson had nine aces and 20 assists.

Hinceman and Olivia Schumacher had two blocks each.

The Raiders (9-5) got four aces apiece from Mckinley Faw and Kali Nelson. Tamaria Rhyne had four kills. Emma Owens had five assists and five digs.
