Salisbury Symphony Guild

Fall is almost here, and you know what that means…Football and Salisbury Symphony Orchestra!  The Orchestra, too, has a “season” and “players.” While we don’t have team colors just yet, we do have a schedule (see salisburysymphony.org).

If the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra has cheerleaders, it is the Guild!  Volunteers (not paid) who delight in the music and wish to share it invite you to their September Social Season Kick-off.  It is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Martha and Harrison Smith.  If you are already a proud member of the Guild, the event is free; if you are thinking of joining, you may bring your membership fee with you ($45 for the year).  If you’d simply want to join in the celebration, the cost is only $20.  RSVP to Angie Smith — 704-431-4447 or angiefowlersmith@yahoo.com — by Monday, Sept. 16 to be sure there are sufficient refreshments for all.

In addition to fellowship, music, laughter, and food, Music Director David Hagy will lead a brief chat about the upcoming season.  For more information about the Salisbury Symphony Guild, visit salisburysymphony.org
