Rowan weather: Slight chance of rain later
Today will be a Code Yellow air quality day for both ozone and particle pollution. Unusually sensitive people may be affected.
It’s going to be partly sunny and 85, with east northeast wind at 5-9 mph. We’ll have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Some storms could be strong, with gusty winds, heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, with more in thunderstorms.
Tonight will have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. It will be cloudy and 67, with east northeast wind at 3-8 mph. Expect patchy fog after 3 a.m. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and 83, with light east northeast wind. There will be a 20 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
Saturday night will have a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then be mostly cloudy and 67, with calm wind.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy and 86, with east wind around 5 mph in the afternoon. There will be a 30 percent chance of showers and storms after 1 p.m.
