It’s time to open Rowan County to expansion. Towns like Granite Quarry and Salisbury need to follow suit. For too long, citizens of this county have been hurt by business owners and real estate bigwigs who don’t want businesses to come to our county.

I heard a local business owner complaining about chain restaurants coming to Granite Quarry. All these people don’t really care about Rowan County. If you are scared of competition, why stay in business?

Bring in Target, Best Buy and Costco to Rowan and people will benefit. Granite Quarry would benefit from a Food Lion and some chain restaurants.
