Beginning just after midnight Wednesday, a state Department of Transportation contractor will close the off ramp to N.C. 152 from northbound Interstate 85 to move equipment across the ramp.

The work will be completed by 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The detour route will be I-85 North to Webb Road, Exit 70. At the top of the ramp, make a left and travel about 1,000 feet and make a left onto the I-85 southbound ramp.

N.C. DOT contractors will close Chapel Street between Coach Deal Road and the Landis Oaks subdivision beginning at 8 a.m. Friday.  It will reopen with a lane closure at 8 a.m. Monday.

The contractor will install a 54-inch cross line pipe.
