North Rowan tennis players attend Net Generation Day

WINSTON-SALEM — Members of the North Rowan High School men’s tennis team attended the Winston-Salem Open Tuesday, Aug. 20, as part of the Net Generation High School Day.
The student-athletes participated in tennis drills with certified coaches, met and hit with tennis sensation Coco Gauff (a 15-year-old professional tennis player on the women’s tour) and attended several matches at the Winston-Salem Open (a professional men’s tennis tournament hosted at Wake Forest University). Some of the players they watched were: Benoit Paire, Casper Rudd, Feliciano Lopez, Tomas Berdych, and Casper Rudd.
Attending for North Rowan High School tennis were Imeir Adkins, Arizona Day, Terrance Settlemyer, Ray Montes, and Coach Michael Brooks.
