CANCELLED Amber alert for child missing from Charlotte

CANCELLED — The child has been found.

RALEIGH  — The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a missing child:   Dior Muhammad.

Dior Muhammad is a 3-year-old black female, approximately 3 feet tall, weighing 32 pounds.   She has black hair, and brown eyes.   She was last seen wearing a black pants and gray shirt.

Allegedly, there are 2 abductors:   Edward Silk Garner Sr and  Edward Silk Garner Jr.   Edward Silk Garner Sr is described as 35 years old,  black, male, 6 feet  1 inch tall, He has brown, short cut hair and brown eyes.   Unknown clothing description, beard with goatee.

Edward Silk Garner Jr is described as 18 years old,  black, male, 5 feet  8 inches tall, He has short, brown hair and brown eyes.   Unknown clothing description   Edward Silk Garner Jr. was in the car with his father, unknown what his role is in the abduction on his sister.

Location is unknown at this time, unknown direction of travel from 14227 Perugia Way, Charlotte, NC The vehicle is a white 2000 Mercedes Benz S430 with NC license tag number HCV-1629.
