SALISBURY — A Days Inn hotel employee was robbed at gunpoint, and police are looking for a suspect.

The robbery occurred Tuesday morning, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

The 63-year-old victim told police that a black man entered the hotel, located at 321 Bendix Drive, carrying a silver handgun. He left with money.

The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as being in his 50s with a medium build. He wore a black shirt, blue jeans and a black hat. The suspect left in an older model Cadillac Deville traveling toward Innes Street, police said.
