If we make it through today, we’ll have a week of cooler temperatures, even below average.

Today will be mostly sunny and 89, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Winds will be southwest at 6-13 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph.

tonight will have a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy and 70, with south wind at 3-8 mph. We could have a quarter to half inch of rain. Expect patchy fog around 4 a.m.

Tuesday will have an 80 percent chance of showers, with a few thunderstorms. It will be foggy in some places before 9 a.m. The high will be 77, with north wind at 5-7 mph. A half to three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.

Tuesday night will have a 60 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 63 with calm wind. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 82, with north northeast wind at 5-7 mph. The low will be 61, with mostly clear skies.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 84, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 62.

Friday will be mostly sunny and 85. Friday night will be partly cloudy and 64.

The weekend will be warm, but not as humid.
