Rowan Redbuds

The next meeting of the Rowan Redbuds Garden Club will be July 25 at 1 p.m. in the Hurley Room at the Rowan County Public Library, 201 West Fisher Street. The program will be presented by Mark Martin, Arborist for the City of Salisbury and assistant manager for Hurley Park.

Are you a caregiver who needs a little help or advice?

Prepare to Care, a free class at Trinity Living Center, will cover what you need to know about taking on the role of caregiver. From advance directives to practical tips for making everyday tasks easier, these four evening sessions will cover what you need to know. Classes are free and open to the public and will be held from 6-7:30 p.m on four consecutive Tuesdays, starting July 23. Complimentary adult day services will be available during sessions if needed.
