Happy 100th Birthday Faynell Overcash Crowe

Faynell Overcash Crowe of Salisbury, North Carolina was born in the southern part of Rowan County on July 21, 1919 to parents James Sherrill Overcash and Carrie Bost Overcash.

A celebration in her honor was given to her by daughters, Revonda Crowe of Salisbury, Melba Cook of Woodstock, Georgia, Sherry Albright of Hickory and granddaughter Erin Walser of Mooresville on Saturday, July 20.

The birthday celebration was held at Rock Grove United Methodist Church where she has been a member for over 70 years. She is the wife of the late Roy Crowe to whom she was married for 71 years.

Faynell has been a caring and loving mother to her three daughters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
