Four more file for office Wednesday

SALISBURY — Four people on Wednesday added their names to the list of candidates seeking municipal office in Rowan County.
The candidates who filed Wednesday are:
• Gemale Black, for Salisbury City Council.
• Matt Lyerly, for re-election to the Faith Board of Aldermen.
• Alderman Bobby Brown, for Landis mayor.
• Chuck Bowman, for re-election to the Rockwell Board of Aldermen.
Filing continues until noon Friday.
To file for municipal office, candidates must go to the Rowan County Board of Elections Office at West End Plaza. It is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
