SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department is investigating an early Sunday morning shooting at Pine Hill Apartments. One man was shot but was not seriously injured, according to officials.

Detectives were called to 410 W. 15th St. about 3:30 a.m. after a report of shots fired. Police have few details and say those involved are not cooperating with the investigation.

Marquise Douglas Luke, 31, was shot in the clavicle, police said. He was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in a personal vehicle.

Police issued warrants for Eddie James Richardson Jr., 42. It’s believed the two men had problems with each another before the shooting. It’s not clear if either of them lives at the apartment complex or were visiting there.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Richardson is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Salisbury-Rowan CrimeStoppers at 866-639-5245.
