Salisbury man identified as suspect in Food Lion burglary

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department has identified a local man as a suspect in a burglary at a Food Lion on Monday morning.

Ronnie Warren, 34, is wanted for breaking into the Food Lion of the 100 block on Mahaley Avenue, said Police Lt. Greg Beam.

The report on the burglary was made Monday morning. Warren is accused of stealing several cartons of cigarettes, Beam said.

Warren is also wanted in a burglary at the Sam’s Xpress Car Wash in the 1000 block on West Innes Street, Beam said. Warren allegedly stole change from the business while breaking in, Beam said.

Warren also is connected to an armed robbery at the Family Dollar store in Spencer, Beam said.
