Rowan weather: More storms tonight

Did the storms wake you up, too? We may be in for more tonight. Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are possible.

Today will be partly sunny and 87, with south southwest wind at 5-9 mph this morning, then gusty winds up to 20 mph this afternoon. We have a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly after 4 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight has a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly before 10 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 70, with south southwest wind around 6 mph calming. A quarter to half inch of rainfall is possible. Patchy fog will form after 3 a.m.

Wednesday will start with patchy fog, then be partly sunny and 85. A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible after 9 a.m. Winds will be southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is predicted.

Wednesday night will have a 30% chance of showers and storms, mainly before 9 p.m. It will be partly cloudy and 69, with southwest wind around 3-5 mph.

Thursday will be partly sunny and 86. A 60% chance of showers and storms is likely after 4 p.m. Southwest wind will be a 6-14 mph, gusting to 21 mph.

The same chance of showers and storms is possible Thursday night, main before 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 67.

Friday will be sunny and 85. It will be  mostly clear night, with a low of 65.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 89. Partly cloudy skies will lead to a low of 69.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 90. Then a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible Sunday night, with a low of 68 and mostly cloudy skies.

Monday will also have a 30% chance of showers and storms. It will be mostly sunny and 89.
