Saturday, June 22 • drop in noon-9 p.m.
Field day is a nationwide event put on by the American Radio Relay League where ham radio operators practice emergency communications while on emergency power. It is also a contest to see how many radio contacts your club can make.
We will be at Sloan Park starting at noon on June 22 shelter A: Mt Ulla Lions shelter. We will have antennas and radio equipment set up and be “on the air.” In fact you can also get on the air with us during this event.
This event is open to the public.
