Filing for offices in the Nov. 5 municipal elections will open at noon July 5 and continue through noon July 19.

Candidates should file with the Rowan County Board of Elections Office, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. W., Suite D10, in West End Plaza.

This includes the municipalities of China Grove, Cleveland, East Spencer, Faith, Granite Quarry, Kannapolis (residents living in Rowan County), Landis, Rockwell, Salisbury, and Spencer.

Candidates must be residents and qualified voters in the town or city in which they file for office.
