GRANITE QUARRY — The Granite Quarry Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing Friday on a proposed $3.1 million budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
The hearing will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Town Hall, 143 N. Salisbury Ave. Residents are encouraged to attend and make oral or written comments.
The town board must pass a budget by June 30, the end of the current fiscal year. Interim Town Manager Larry Smith has proposed that the town’s property tax rate remain at 41.75 cents per $100 valuation.
