Snipes Earns Eagle Award

Nicholas Shappell Snipes of Salisbury is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today, June 2, 2019, at First United Church of Christ presented by Don Rankin, Troop Committee Chairman; Wayne Sasser, President of Scout Unit 448, Inc.; Alfred Wilson, Scoutmaster; and Jack Kepley, Scoutmaster Emeritus.
Serving as Quartermaster with Troop 448, Nicholas has 21 merit badges and his  Order of the Arrow. He is a member of the JROTC, a Crosby Scholar, on the Raider Team, a member of the F.U.C.C. Youth Fellowship and a lifeguard at Irish Creek Country Club.
A 10th-grader at South Rowan High School, Nicholas is the son of Brent Snipes and Kelly Freeze.
