Rowan weather: Getting hotter

It’s a pretty sticky morning, with fog in some places. We’re starting out at 69, and the high today will be 93, under sunny skies.

Calm wind will become northwest around 5-8 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low of 68. Winds will be north northwest around 5 mph and will calm later in the night.

Saturday will be sunny and 90, with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms after 3 p.m. Northeast wind around 5 mph will become light and variable.

Saturday night also has a 20 percent chance of showers and storms before 1 a.m. It will be partly cloudy and 69, with light south wind.

Sunday will be sunny and 93, with calm wind becoming west at 5-7 mph in the afternoon. Sunday night will be clear, with a low of 68.

Memorial Day will be sunny and 92, so drink plenty of water and wear a hat if you are outside. The low will be 68, with partly sunny skies.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 95. The low will be 70, with mostly clear skies.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 94, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 71.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 93. There’s no sign of the heat wave breaking next week.
