Downtown Salisbury was the scurry of activity for a swarm of honey bees that follwed a queen into the branches of a short tree on the sidewalk on the South side of East Innes Street. Local bee keepers arrived and place the queen into a box hive at the base of the tree and waited for the swarming to follow and calm down. Salisbury, NC 4/23/19

A swarm of honeybees followed a queen bee into the branches of a short tree on the sidewalk on East Innes Street in downtown Salisbury on Tuesday. Local beekeepers placed the queen in a box hive at the base of the tree and waited for the swarm to follow and calm down.
