Drama at Hood Theological Seminary

Women’s Day at New Bethel Baptist

Annual service at Historic St. George’s
WOODLEAF — The annual service at Historic St. George’s Episcopal Church, 9170 Cool Springs Road, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
St. George’s was designated a historic church in 2007 by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina.
From 1893-1906, St. George’s was a chapel of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Woodleaf (established in 1840). The church was built in 1893 and remodeled in 1928.
The celebrant for the service will be Rev. Dan Wall, Vicar at the Church of the Ascension at Fork.

Easter week at Immanuel Lutheran
ROCKWELL — Immanuel Lutheran will observe Palm Sunday with a Procession of the Palms.
Maundy Thursday and Good Friday Services both begin at 7:30 p.m. Holy Communion will be served during the Maundy Thursday service, and the congregation will participate in the Stripping of the Altar.
The Good Friday service will be a continuation of the Maundy Thursday service.
Easter sunrise service begins at 6:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with a formal procession. The Chancel Choir will perform the Easter Suite “Palms, Passion and Alleluias,” followed by breakfast prepared by the Men’s Sunday School Class.
There will be no Sunday School or 11 a.m. service. Rev. Bruce Sheeks is host pastor.

Special program at Erwin Temple
WOODLEAF — The Pastors Aide Ministry of Erwin Temple CME Church, 155 Erwin Temple Church Road, will present the “Seven Ups” program Sunday at 3 p.m.
There will be seven speakers for the different topics. One speaker will be a member of Erwin Temple Church, and the other six will be guests from area churches.

37th annual Gospel memorial program

Emmaus Road Quartet at Landmark
