Hurley Park’s 31st anniversary Spring Celebration

At Hurley Park’s 31st anniversary Spring Celebration, there will be food, music and entertainment for the family.

The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department hosts the event at 304 Annandale Ave. on Sunday. Enjoy music by the Salisbury Swing Band, bubble fun with The Bubble Circus, and meet representatives from Triple Springs Horse Run, Rowan Redbuds Garden Club, Rowan Rose Society, Cooperative Extension, Salisbury Fire Department, Horizons Unlimited, NC Wildlife Commission, NC Forestry, Carolina Artists and the Extension Master Gardeners.

There will also be free carriage rides, an obstacle course, nature trail with identification and snacks, as well as an Arbor Day celebration and tree planting in the park.

The Salisbury Swing Band features award-winning vocalist Laura Millspaugh and music from the swingin’ era of Sinatra all they way to Stevie Wonder and Chicago. Bring a lawn chair and tap your feet to your favorite hits.
