Blotter: Salisbury man charged in December break-in

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man has been charged in a December break-in in which a firearm was stolen from a Cleveland home.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Zackery Clyde Patterson, 26, on Thursday with felony breaking and entering; felony larceny after breaking and entering; felony larceny of a firearm; and felony possession of stolen property.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, Patterson stole a Browning 22-caliber pistol from a Dooley Road home on Dec. 8.

He remains in the Rowan County jail under a $3,000 secured bond.

In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A woman reported Thursday that someone stole a trailer in the 1900 block of Hollywood Drive.

• A man reported identify theft Thursday in the 1700 block of Scout Road.

• G2 Structures reported Thursday that someone stole a trailer at the business in the 8900 block of West N.C. 152, Mooresville.

• Adam Nicholas Buckland, 22, was charged Thursday with possession of a weapon on the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College campus, 1333 S. Jake Alexander Blvd.

• Tevin Marcell Moore, 26, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

• Brittani Stayton, 28, was charged Thursday with felony possession of a controlled substance Schedule II in the 5100 block of Davidson Highway, Concord.

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A man reported Friday that someone stole items from his vehicle in the 200 block of Faith Road.

• A man reported an assault Friday in the 600 block of Statesville Boulevard.

• A man reported Friday that someone stole items from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 300 block of South Merritt Avenue.

• A man reported Saturday he was carjacked at gunpoint as he drank inside his car with the window rolled down in the Marriott hotel parking lot, 120 Marriott Circle.

• A woman reported a vehicle break-in Saturday in the 1400 block of Van Nuys Street.

• A woman reported a vehicle break-in Saturday in the 1300 block of Old Concord Road.

• A woman reported a vehicle break-in Saturday in the 500 block of South Jake Alexander Boulevard.

• A man reported vandalism Sunday in the 400 block of West Franklin Street.

• A man reported vandalism Monday in the 1300 block of South Jake Alexander Boulevard.

• Daniel Milton Coleman, 60, was charged Friday with felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury in the 600 block of Statesville Boulevard.

• Candace Blair Kirkley, 33, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor vandalism in the 300 block of North Jackson Street.
