Letter: Don’t make opposition into something it’s not

In response to DeeDee Wright’s letter concerning the closing of Faith school published March 19 (“Is another reason behid Faith closure opposition”), this has nothing to do with race. Quit trying to race-bait this situation.

Parent’s concerns are for their children being sent from a school with high performance and high test scores to a school among the lowest test scores in the school system.

My grandchildren went to Faith and my great-grandchildren are getting ready to go there. I have the highest praise for this school and their teachers.

Please don’t try making anything thing else out of this situation. Koontz is a newer school. It does have high tech classrooms, but this is not what matters when it comes to our children’s education.
