The Civitan Club of Salisbury is accepting nominations for the Servant’s Heart Award.
The multidisciplinary award recognizes outstanding service to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The award is an initiative of Civitan International, which has made service to people with disabilities a major focus for more than 70 years.
Nominees for the Servant’s Heart Award can be teachers, therapists, vocational educators, social workers or others whose excellence in service to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities deserves recognition.
To make a nomination, fill out the application available at www.salisburycivitan.org or on Facebook at “Salisbury Civitan Club,” or contact Maggie Blackwell at margaretblackwell@fibrant.com with the name of the nominee, his or her role in service, and contact information.
Nominations must be received by the club by March 15 to qualify.
The Servant’s Heart Award winner will be honored with a ceremony and luncheon at Country Club of Salisbury on April 1.
