Rowan County authorities said Tuesday evening that the Salisbury Police Department has located a sex offender who had been placed on the county’s most-wanted list.

Nathan Patrick James Rohl, 24, was put on the list earlier this week. He was arrested near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and East Council Street.

Officials said Rohl resisted arrest but was taken into custody. He was held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.

Rohl was originally charged with failure to notify authorities of a change of address.
