All public servants should be just that — there to serve the public not themselves.

Good people can go down the wrong path. I always thought former House Speaker Jim Black was a good servant to the people. Look what happened to him.

He was not the first and won’t be the last to serve time in prison for problems with money being passed around to influence others.
