Waffle House puts diners in a Valentine’s Day mood
The Waffle House restaurant on East Innes Street in Salisbury celebrated Valentine’s Day by offering an extended menu and taking reservations for dinner Thursday.
Staff members spent hours in the early afternoon transforming the diner for the occasion.
Eddie Brown Jr. assumed the role of the event host, wearing a red choir jacket and seating guest in booths that were decorated with white tablecloths and electric votive candles.
Faye Dunlap set up a booth for couples to pose for a photo to remember the evening.
Brown made sure that the jukebox was playing tunes that would add to the romance and amusement of the evening.
