Rowan weather: Cloudy today, rain tonight

We’re in for days of rain, starting tonight, that could lead to flooding of creeks, rivers and low-lying places.

Today will be mostly cloudy and 63, with southwest wind at 8-10 mph. The chance of rain is 30 percent, with rain between 4 and 5 p.m., followed by showers.

Tonight’s chance of rain is 100 percent, mainly after 8 p.m. Patchy fog will form around 9 p.m. The low will be 48, with southwest wind calming. A quarter to half-inch of rain is possible.

Saturday has an 80 percent chance of rain, with showers mainly before 10 a.m., and patchy fog. The high will be 51, with north northeast wind around 10 mph. Another quarter to half-inch of rain is possible.

Saturday night will have just a 20 percent chance of rain or drizzle after 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 35, with east northeast wind at 5-7 mph.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy and 47, with a 50 percent chance of rain or drizzle, mainly after 8 a.m. East wind will calm in the morning. The chance of rain Sunday night is 60 percent, mainly between midnight and 2 a.m. It will be cloudy and 42.

Monday has a 40 percent chance of rain before 4 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 58. The chance of ran goes up to 60 percent Monday night, mostly after 4 a.m. The low will be 41.

Tuesday brings an 80 percent chance of rain, with a high of 48. Tuesday night will be cloudy and 38, with a 70 percent chance of rain.

Wednesday has a 70 percent chance of rain, and will be cloudy and 53. The low will be 44, with more clouds and a 60 percent chance of rain.

Thursday will also have a 60 percent chance of rain, and will be cloudy and 62.
