Rowan weather: Cooling off, rain coming Sunday

Today will be a bit cooler, with a high of 66 under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will begin to drop once the sun sets.

It will be windy again, with winds from the northwest at 8-13 mph and gusts up to 22 mph.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a low of 31. North wind will be at 7-9 mph.

Saturday will be big change, with a high of just 46 and partly sunny skies. North northeast wind will be at 5-8 mph. The low will be a cold 27, with partly cloudy skies and east northeast wind.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 43, with a 20 percent chance of rain after 3 p.m. The chance of rain goes up to 60 percent Sunday night, with the heaviest rain between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. It will be cloudy and 35.

Monday has a 70 percent chance of rain, mainly after 10 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a high near 50. The chance of rain goes up to 80 percent Monday night, with a low of 39.

Rain is also likely Tuesday, with another 80 percent chance. The high will be 54. The low will be 41, with a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 p.m.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and 58, with a low right at the freezing mark, 32.

Thursday should be mostly sunny and 56.
