Rowan weather: A little of everything this week

Today will be sunny and 51, with east wind at 5-7 mph. Tonight, clouds move in, the low will be 36 and winds will be from the south at 5-7 mph.

Then things get complicated.  Very cold air moves in Wednesday and Thursday, which could cause problems.

Tuesday has an 80 percent chance of rain, mainly between noon and 2 p.m. The high will be 48. South wind will be at 8-11 mph, then shift to the northwest, with gusts as high as 20 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is expected.

Then we have a 40 percent chance of snow Tuesday night, mostly before 11 p.m. It will be partly cloudy and cold, with a low of 21 and northwest wind at 3-7 mph. Little to no accumulation is expected.

Wednesday will be cold, with a high of 38, although sunshine returns. Winds will be from the west southwest at 8-13 mph, with gusts up to 21 mph.

The low Wednesday will be a very cold 17.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high of just 36. Thursday night will be partly cloudy and 22.

Friday will be partly sunny and 45, with a cloudy night and a low of 30.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high of 51. The low will be 32.

Sunday brings a 30 percent chance of rain. It will be partly sunny and 54.
