Rowan County authorities are looking for three men who robbed a Woodleaf game business Thursday evening. There were 10 people inside, but no one was injured.

Someone called 911 to say the men, all wearing masks and armed with guns, took cash from customers and from Fishing Hole Game Center, 175 N.C. 801, Woodleaf. The business is beside a Citgo convenience store, close to the Davie County line.

The robbers were in all black, and one of them had a rifle.

The manager said she was standing in front of the store when one of the men walked up to her and put a gun to her temple. He pulled her hair and told her to go inside. She was ordered on the ground as were nine customers inside the business.

The robber told everyone to stay down on the floor and empty their pockets.

Two other men walked into the business. One of them went into the office and tried to open the cash register. He was able to open the register but took cash that was lying on the counter.

One robber collected cash and a cellphone from the patrons.

The three suspects then ran out the door.

They got into a dark-colored vehicle and headed toward Davie County. A K-9 unit was used to try to track the suspects but was unsuccessful.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700 or Salisbury-Rowan CrimeStoppers at 866-639-5245.
