Granite Quarry board to meet Monday to discuss hiring interim town manager
GRANITE QUARRY — The Granite Quarry Board of Aldermen will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at Town Hall to discuss hiring an interim town manager.
According to an agenda, the board will set perimeters for the interim position, such as compensation, an employment contract of three months, and the necessity to do reference and background checks.
The board also expects to approve a firm to help in the search for a permanent town manager, at a cost not to exceed $6,000.
Town Manager Phil Conrad has submitted his resignation effective Feb. 11.
