Letter: Veterans should not pay for wall

Published 11:25 pm Saturday, January 19, 2019

This letter is in response to one published Jan. 10 paper by Elaine C. Howle titled “Veterans could pay for the border wall.”

My question is why should any veterans have to pay for the wall.

We could take a nickel or a dime from each person in America that would be enough money to build a wall on the southern border and around the entirety of the United State and Canada. I don’t believe a U.S. military veteran should have to pay a dime for the wall. They have already paid their dues by protecting the country.
