Intimidators announce 2019 schedule — opener on April 4

Intimidators release

KANNAPOLIS — The Kannapolis Intimidators have released their 2019 schedule, complete with game times for all 70 home games.

The season begins at home on Thursday, April 4, a 7:00 p.m. game against the
Rome Braves. This will be the final home opener and season played at the current ballpark — Intimidators Stadium supported by Atrium Health, located between Moose Road and Lane Street.
Throughout the season, first pitch for all Monday through Saturday games will be at 7:00, with the exception of Education and Camp Days.

The Intimidators will begin play at 10:35 a.m. for Education Days on
April 10, May 11 and May 15. In addition, Camp Days
will be held on July 10 at 12 noon and Aug. 6 at 11 a.m.

Sunday games will start at 3 p.m. in April, May and June, before moving to 5:00 o’clock in July and August.
The Intimidators have a schedule of 140 games, 70 home tilts at Intimidators Stadium supported by Atrium Health.

Kannapolis will host a marquee matchup on July 3 when the Intimidators host the Rome Braves for an Independence Day celebration. The sky will light up with a post-game Fireworks Extravaganza following that game.
Full promotional details will be announced in the coming weeks. The Intimidators, Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and member of the South Atlantic League.

The Intimidators will begin play at the City of Kannapolis’ new Sports &
